Coronavirus Update
How Our Counselling Services Are Managed During the Pandemic
Paul and Joan have both been vaccinated using the Astra-Zeneca vaccine without any negative side-effects.
They have also had the 3rd Pfizer booster vaccine.
Providers of psychotherapy and support have been exempt from forced lock-down right since the start of the pandemic.
Tranceform Psychology continue to remain open for face-to-face counselling.
Please visit our Online Counselling page for more details.
Distancing Precautions
Although all Coronavirus restrictions have now been lifted, we continue taking the following cautionary measures.
- Clients and Therapists seating is, and will continue to be, separated by approx 10 feet distance.
- Door handles and any other surfaces that clients are likely to come into contact with, are regularly cleaned with anti-bacterial cleaner.
- We provide anti-bacterial hand gel for clients use before and after sessions.
- There is NO compelling evidence for the use of face-masks but should clients wish to use them, that is fine.

Precautions For Attending the Clinic
Please do not arrange to attend your sessions if you have even the slightest concern that you have any type of illness, particularly any signs of Flu.
If you do need to cancel, please let us know by either text or e-mail.
Therapists at Tranceform will also be following the same advice and will not practice if they have any hint or suggestion of illness in any way.
As of September 2021 none of the therapists at the clinic have contracted or had any symptoms associated with this illness.
We are absolutely committed to putting client and therapist welfare before financial considerations whilst recognising that lockdown isolation is also a serious concern for mental well-being.
Payments
Payments for courses will continue to be processed using our new PayPal payment portal where payments can be made on the website shop.
NHS ICB payments will continue to be processed through the Tradelink facility already in place.
Health & Safety
Clearly we want our clients, new and existing, as well as ourselves, to be as safe and healthy as possible during this difficult period.
This means that EACH of us needs to take responsibility for our own welfare and take the necessary steps that we believe are required to keep ourselves so.
By taking this approach we should be able to continue to support your mental health needs particularly in these times of high anxiety.
Paul & Joan – Oct 2022.
