Panic Attacks Overcome – Testimonial
I first contacted Paul in early July 2017.
I was an anxious, dramatic, feared-the-worst-in-everything 23 year old with severe social anxiety, low self esteem and suffering from panic attacks. Am I glad I made that phone call…?!
YES!
I first read about Paul when my Fiancé googled online for ‘severe anxiety help’.
We were reading some of Paul’s testimonials and I was blown away by some of them, as their ‘before’ explanations sounded just like me… and their ‘after’ descriptions were what I had longed for, for many many years.
I was at my wits end, annoyed with myself – and my loved ones.
As both I and the people around me didn’t understand the way I felt, the way I thought and the way I acted.
I hadn’t driven my car for approximately 3-4 weeks at this point… in fear I would have a panic attack whilst ‘stuck’ at traffic lights.
I had sat in my bedroom hysterically crying… why? I’m not too sure. I had a holiday booked with my Fiancé that I was DREADING; because of course the aeroplane was going to crash, as I was on it after all!
I had even stopped doing everyday tasks such as food shopping, in fear that I would have a panic attack whilst in the queue for the till or driving home.
I suppose I thought my life sucked, I was putting on weight, I was miserable in my job and the whole world was against me, everything bad that could ever happen in the world was going to happen to me….. or was it?

I can only describe leaving my initial consultation with Paul as ‘buzzing’.
I was buzzing with energy, buzzing with hope and buzzing with the fact that somebody actually understood me!
I had a very supportive family, but they never really ‘understood’ anxiety, and never really ‘got’ why I would have a panic attack.
I instantly knew Paul was the help I had been looking for. He offered me the THRIVE Programme – something I would recommend to anyone, and something that I have already recommended to many friends and relatives.
I always told Paul that I wanted the ‘old Laura back’. He soon taught me to realise that I needed the ‘new, improved, and better than she’d ever been, Laura’!! ….. And that is exactly who I am today. I have stopped looking at the sh*t and started looking at the shinola!
Since completing the THRIVE programme I am a completely different person. I am a happier, enthusiastic and more content person. I LOVE LIFE.
I have learnt to love myself, and to love and enjoy the things that I do and the people who I am around. This is something that most take for granted, but it’s something that I thought that I would never experience and never enjoy.
I was always a ‘people pleaser’, but made myself very unhappy in pleasing others. The THRIVE Programme helped me greatly to look after number one, me. I am important, and I will do what makes me happy.
After completing the THRIVE programme with Paul I am now driving every day, I have secured myself with a new job (that I am absolutely loving!!!), and I can only describe myself as a social butterfly… in the fact that I’m never in! I went on the holiday with my Fiancé and had a wonderful time. Both flights were an absolute breeze after applying the DREAM technique that Paul taught me (and the aeroplane didn’t crash… surprise surprise).
It was 10 weeks of hard work and dedication, and I really had to cross my boundaries and comfort zones many times but it was all worth it, and I can confidently say that today I am THRIVING. Thank you Paul, you really have changed my life!
