Sexual Problems Counselling Wolverhampton
Confidential Help for Sexual Problems
Nearly all of us, at some point in our lives are likely to experience sexual problems of one sort or another. They can be very difficult to talk to somebody about, so we would like to assure you that we will deal with you with respect and understanding.
As our sex life is such a “personal” and integral part of our lives we can often feel too embarrassed to seek help, instead suffering needlessly and letting it affect our self esteem and also those closest to us.
Sexual Problems are much more common than people think and can crop up at any time, and at any age.
Sexual problems are experienced in fairly equal proportions by both Men and Women, although men tend to ‘deny’ the existence of the problem and are much less likely to consult for professional help.
Due to the very personal nature of our sex lives, sexual problems that are not dealt with can lead to very powerful feelings of inadequacy, shame and low self esteem.
These feelings NEVER make the problem better or more manageable; in fact, they act in such a way as to further increase the problem creating a vicious circle.
It is important to recognise that one person’s “pleasure” is another person’s “perversion”, there are no hard and fast rules about what is “acceptable” or “unacceptable” (We are obviously not talking about such things as Paedophilia here as they are clearly illegal preferences) so do not simply assume that your particular issue is ‘beyond help’ or ‘beyond understanding’.

The most common sexual problems we are consulted for include:-
Transform Your Thinking & Overcome Sexual Problems
If you’re committed to overcoming your sexual problems then we highly recommend following either our Advanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy course with Paul, or the Changing Limiting Beliefs (CLB) Programme with Joan.
Both the CBT course and Changing Limiting Beliefs approach are highly successful & pragmatic psychological training programmes, run over 10 sessions, that will teach you everything you need to know to understand your problem, identify how unhelpful thinking and limiting beliefs might be reinforcing the issue, and then show you how to make any changes to your unhelpful thinking styles or maladaptive safety behaviours that you may have developed as part of your coping strategies.
Our CBT programme is an evidence-based, research supported approach used by mental health practitioners around the World.
FREE Initial Consultations for Sexual Problems
We offer all prospective clients a FREE initial assessment to chat about your Sexual Problems. During this 50 minute consultation we will discuss the various options that are available to you and make a considered recommendation based on your individual personal circumstances.
At TranceForm we believe that therapy & coaching should be a collaboration between therapist and client so it’s very important to be able to meet PRIOR to agreeing any kind of help. Our policy is to help people make a fully balanced & considered decision about undertaking therapy with us, including both the financial and personal implications.
We recommend following our 10 session course of advanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to overcome a wide range of mental health and behavioural problems. CBT is the therapy of choice for developing a deep level of understanding into the dynamics of your problem, but also for then learning new coping mechanisms and strategies for sustainable change over your life.
